Cellar Sales Coordinator
Part-time · Albany Cellar Door
Reports to: Sales Manager
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, plus every second Saturday (around 56.5 hours per fortnight)
About the role
The Cellar Sales Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Alkoomi's Albany Cellar Door, ensuring a welcoming customer experience and efficient management of direct-to-consumer sales.
The role combines customer service, wine sales, Wine Club administration, online order fulfilment and stock management, ensuring the Cellar Door and online sales channels operate smoothly.
Cellar Door operations
- Coordinate daily operations of the Albany Cellar Door.
- Conduct tastings, assist customers and actively promote wine sales.
- Maintain Cellar Door presentation, displays, tasting materials and cleanliness.
- Ensure pricing, promotions and product information are accurate and current.
- Coordinate customer bookings and tasting experiences.
Online orders and stock management
- Pick, pack and prepare online orders for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate stock availability on the website and coordinate stock updates.
- Monitor Cellar Door and online stock levels, arranging replenishment when required.
- Liaise with the warehouse regarding stock transfers and availability.
- Assist with stocktakes and investigate discrepancies.
Wine Club and customer relationships
- Coordinate day-to-day Wine Club administration and member enquiries.
- Assist with Wine Club orders, member benefits and customer communication.
- Promote Wine Club memberships and encourage repeat purchasing.
- Maintain customer records and respond to enquiries.
- Support direct-to-consumer promotions and customer activities.
Sales and administration
- Maintain accurate daily sales records and complete relevant end-of-day procedures.
- Assist with Cellar Door reporting and monitoring sales performance.
- Communicate customer feedback, operational concerns and sales opportunities.
- Work with the Sales Assistant to maintain appropriate customer coverage.
